SUMMARY:Zero Emission Ferries in APAC
DESCRIPTION:The transition to zero-emission maritime transport is accelerating across Asia-Pacific\, with ferry operators\, ports\, OEMs\, technology providers\, and policymakers working to deploy scalable solutions. \nGlobal Mass Transit is organising the conference “Zero Emission Ferries in APAC”\, bringing together regional and international stakeholders to examine how zero-emission ferries can move from strategy to implementation. \nConference Overview\nThe mission of the conference is to discuss the deployment of zero-emission ferries across APAC\, including: \n\n\nFunding availability and financing models \n\n\nDeployment strategies \n\n\nCase studies and best practices \n\n\nRecent developments and technological innovations \n\n\nKey challenges and implementation barriers \n\n\nFuture plans and regional outlook \n\n\nThe programme will include eight focused sessions: \n\n\nOpening Panel Discussion: Accelerating Deployment of Zero Emission Ferries \n\n\nOptimal Strategies for Introducing Zero Emission Ferries \n\n\nOEM Perspective \n\n\nElectric Zero Emission Ferries \n\n\nHydrogen Fuel Cell Ferries \n\n\nImpact of Electrification on the Grid \n\n\nTerminal Infrastructure \n\n\nKey Projects and Case Studies \n\n\nThe conference will also address procurement\, financing\, operation\, and maintenance of zero-emission ferries and associated infrastructure. \n\nRegistration – ZESTAs Member Discount\nZESTAs members receive a 30% discount on participation fees. \nDiscounted Fees (ZESTAs Members):\n\n\nUSD 525 – 1 participant \n\n\nUSD 875 – 2 participants \n\n\nUSD 1\,225 – 3 participants \n\n\nUSD 1\,575 – 4 participants \n\n\n\nTo access the ZESTAs member rate\, please contact us directly and we will share the registration details. \n\n\nThis conference provides a regional platform to examine how policy alignment\, financing\, grid integration\, terminal infrastructure\, and vessel technology can support the scaling of zero-emission ferry operations across Asia-Pacific.

SUMMARY:Asia Pacific Maritime (APM) 2026
DESCRIPTION:Asia Pacific Maritime (APM) is Asia’s premier exhibition and conference for innovation across shipbuilding and marine\, workboat\, offshore\, port technology\, and electric and hybrid marine. \nHeld biennially in Singapore\, APM brings together industry leaders\, technology developers\, shipowners\, ports\, and solution providers to focus on the future of vessel operations and energy systems. The 19th edition of APM will take place from 25–27 March 2026 at Marina Bay Sands\, Singapore\, across Halls A\, B\, C\, D\, E and F. Over three days\, the event is expected to welcome more than 20\,000 industry professionals\, 750 global exhibitors\, and 150+ speakers. \nElectric & Hybrid Power at APM 2026\nNew for 2026\, APM is introducing Electric & Hybrid Power\, a dedicated segment focused on technologies already being deployed to reduce emissions and improve vessel efficiency. The feature includes a dedicated consultation lounge and conference content centred on the maritime energy transition. \nZESTAs at APM 2026\nZESTAs is a Supporting Partner of APM 2026 and will co-host the Zero-Emission Shipping Consulting Lounge within the Electric & Hybrid Power feature area. \nThe Lounge will provide a dedicated meeting point for practical discussion on what it takes to move zero emissions shipping from ambition to deployment. It reflects ZESTAs’ role in bringing together the actors needed to make progress across the maritime value chain\, including technology providers\, vessel designers\, shipowners\, ports\, energy systems\, regulators\, and finance. \nZESTAs Secretary-General Madadh MacLaine will also be moderating two conference discussions during APM 2026\, focused on green hydrogen and wind propulsion. These themes are closely connected to the issues explored in her recent articles\, which examine maritime energy resilience\, industrial readiness\, and the strategic choices now shaping the sector. \nTogether\, the Lounge\, the conference programme\, and Madadh’s recent writing show why zero emissions shipping is no longer only a future ambition\, but a question of deployment\, resilience\, and energy sovereignty. \nRead Madadh’s recent articles:\nFrom Choke Points to Checkpoints\nThe Kharg Spike \n\nLocation\nMarina Bay Sands\, Singapore\nAPM 2026 – Electric & Hybrid Power feature area\nHalls B \n\nOpening hours\nWednesday 25 March: 10:00 – 18:00\nThursday 26 March: 10:00 – 18:00\nFriday 27 March: 10:00 – 17:00 \n\nRegistration\nAPM 2026 is free to attend for trade professionals.
