Products and Route

Dealfeng® Rotor Sail Technology is based on Magnus effect to harness wind power to provide forward auxiliary propulsion for vessel. A newbuild 5000 DWT oil tanker with installing one Dealfeng® rotor sail on the bow will be delivered in September 2023, which will achieve an annual fuel saving and harmful emissions reduction of about 6% after preliminary calculation. Proven data will be provided for reference.

Dealfeng New Energy Technology is able to design and/or work out a flexible energy-saving and carbon-reducing solution for newbuild and retrofitted ships according to different vessel types. Dealfeng has the ability to manufacture the rotor sails of 3m / 4m / 5m diameter and 18m-35m height, who has been certified by LR, NK and CCS for Dealfeng® Rotor Sail System. At the same time, Dealfeng also have passed ISO9001 quality management system certification. WAPS is an advocated innovative energy-saving clean technology recognized under the IMO’s EEDI for newbuilds, also is one of the key means to improve the EEXI/CII of the existing vessels, achieving an annual fuel saving of about 10%-30%.

Fixed Foundation Rotor Sail

Suitable for the vessel without cargo operation and bridge requirement. Fixed Rotor Sail has a wide range of applications with good economic performance, generally installed on product oil tanker, chemical tanker, RoRo/RoPax ship, cruise passenger vessel, passenger ship, ferry.

Green Shipyard

Folded Foundation Rotor Sail

Suitable for the vessel with complex cargo operations or/and bridge requirement. Folded Rotor Sail is easy-to-operate, can be lowered from vertical to horizontal, to allow the vessel to pass under low bridge and/or avoid impact to cargo operation. The folded Rotor Sail is mostly used on Bulk Carrier, VLOC, Ro-Ro, Cruise, Passenger or other suitable vessel.

Challenging the Industry

Rail Foundation Rotor Sail

Suitable for the vessel with complex cargo operations. Rail Rotor Sail can be moved along the deck, so cranes can effectively load and unload the cargo without any obstruction. Considered to the main deck arrangement, rail rotor sail can be moved along the deck longitudinally/transversely. The rail Rotor Sail is mostly used on Bulk Carrier or other suitable vessel.
