Corvia joins ZESTAs – advancing modular, future-ready propulsion for zero-emission shipping

Nov 27, 2025

ZESTAs has been pleased to welcome Corvia, the new brand under Eekels Technology B.V. (TBI), earlier this year. 2025 has been a defining period for Corvia, marked by strong growth, new partnerships, and a clear commitment to accelerating the maritime energy transition through modular, smart propulsion systems.

Corvia made its first major public debut at Metstrade 2025, where their presentation and holographic display drew significant attention.
Conversations across the exhibition confirmed the market’s interest in their configure-to-order (CTO) approach. Using Corvia’s digital Configurator, customers can compare layouts, visualise systems in 2D and 3D, and select propulsion configurations with greater confidence — helping reduce integration risks and saving valuable time during system design.

Corvia also used the event to deepen engagement with shipbuilders, designers, and technology partners who share their ambition to rethink how propulsion systems are developed and deployed.
This year also saw the launch of the Romanian Corvia Team, strengthening the company’s international presence. After months of preparation with colleagues in the Netherlands, the Romanian team is now operational and working to develop local partnerships aligned with Corvia’s broader vision.

At the centre of Corvia’s work is the configurable MPP, a DC-based, future-ready power system capable of integrating batteries, fuel cells, solar, and wind. Its modularity and adaptability support propulsion systems built around these zero-emission energy sources.

As Corvia expands its activities and partnerships, their team continues to grow, building expertise to deliver smart power solutions that support a sustainable, zero-emission maritime sector.
We look forward to working with Corvia within the ZESTAs community.
