ShipZERO28.5 Workshop
18th of April 2024
Bridging East and West to Accelerate Absolute Zero Emissions Shipping
Thank You for Making ShipZERO28.5 a Success!
Yet again our ShipZERO Workshop outstripped expectations! ShipZERO28.5 in Singapore moved the needle even further for zero-emissions ship technologies, due in part to the “Heavy Hitters” in the room, to name a few, Matthieu de Tugny, Executive Vice President of Bureau Veritas, Hing Chao, executive chairman of Wah Kwong Maritime Transport Holdings, and Craig Eason of TradeWinds.
Next steps: We will work with the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore to create an action roadmap based on the outcomes of the presentations, discussions, and brainstorming sessions with follow-up workshops in the pipeline.
ShipZERO 28.5 marks the shift from an exchange of ideas to direct action. This will be our modus operandi going forward, as we move to different geographies, focusing on local challenges, designing action road maps that lead to tangible projects, creating absolute zero emissions eco-systems. As pointed out by Mr de Tugny and Mr Chao these will lay the foundation for the eventual transition of the largest vessels in the world fleet.
Be the Change!
Whether you are a shipowner seeking to reduce your negative impacts, a cargo owner looking at your scope two and three emissions, an absolute zero emissions solution provider, or hold another piece of the puzzle, now is the time to be the change. Reach out and get involved!
