  • Approval in principle (AiP) and rule development for hydrogen-powered vessels and associated onboard systems.
  • Safety assessment and risk modelling for hydrogen storage, handling and fuel cell integration.
  • Support to ports and offshore projects integrating renewable energy and hydrogen infrastructure linked to maritime applications.
  • Development of technical guidance to enable regulatory compliance with evolving IMO and regional frameworks.
  • Its role is primarily technical assurance and regulatory alignment, enabling safe deployment of zero-emission technologies at scale.
