At APM 2026: ZESTAs Hosts the Zero Emissions Shipping Consulting Lounge

As APM 2026 opens in Singapore, ZESTAs will be on site hosting the Zero Emissions Shipping Consulting Lounge — a dedicated space for direct, practical discussion on what it takes to move zero emissions shipping from ambition to deployment.

The Lounge reflects ZESTAs’ role as a cross-sector convenor, bringing together the fragmented parts of the maritime transition: technology providers, vessel designers, shipowners, ports, energy systems, regulators and finance. At a time when the industry is under growing pressure to strengthen resilience, secure future energy pathways and accelerate real-world deployment, that conversation could not be more relevant.

ZESTAs Secretary-General Madadh MacLaine will also be moderating two APM sessions that sit squarely within these same priorities: one focused on hydrogen for deepsea vessels, and another on wind propulsion and the wider shipping-energy-finance equation. Together, these interventions underline the central questions now facing the sector: how to build credible zero emissions pathways, how to reduce risk, and how to turn technical potential into industrial reality.

These themes are also explored in Madadh’s latest articles, which connect shipping’s energy future with wider questions of resilience, sovereignty and strategic control. Her presence at APM — through both the conference programme and the ZESTAs Lounge — brings those ideas into direct conversation with the industry actors who now need to make deployment happen.

If you are attending APM 2026, come and meet ZESTAs at the Zero Emissions Shipping Consulting Lounge.
