Madadh MacLaine to speak at the 11th Annual Green Ship Tech China Congress in November 2022
The Secretary-General of the Zero Emissions Ship Technology Association (ZESTAs) will be speaking at the globally-renowned event in Shanghai this autumn.
Ms MacLaine will provide an update on technology readiness levels and market availability of zero-emission (ZE) ship tech, as well as inform on ZE vessels in service, and ZE energy supply chains.
Additionally, she will explain how regulation, finance, insurance, as well environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria are impacting the uptake of ZE technologies and fuels worldwide.
ZESTAs provides a voice and collaborative network for the fast-growing zero emissions maritime sector, as shown by the ShipZERO conference series.
As a strategic partner of the conference, ZESTAs’ attendance serves to further the crucial work of decarbonising the shipping industry and accelerating the voyage to True Zero through collaboration.
Having recently hosted ShipZERO26.5: “We’ve Got the Power!” in Amsterdam, Madadh’s industry expertise and skill in bringing disparate industry voices together for the acceleration of cutting-edge technology are well established.
Speaking on the opportunity to present at the Green Ship Tech China Congress, she said: “The Annual Green Ship Tech China Congress is an unmissable opportunity to drive collaboration on a truly international scale. I look forward to demonstrating that the technology necessary for zero-emission shipping is there, it is ready, and it is being effectively used across a range of industry settings. ZESTAs is ready to provide the information and the collaborative network that shipping requires to achieve its decarbonisation goals.”
