Track Record of Impact – Shaping the Future of Hydrogen
- Seven-year the head of the European Hydrogen and fuel cell research program – Clean Hydrogen Partnership, overseeing a EUR 1 billion EU fund leveraged by an additional EUR 1 billion in private investment to accelerate the hydrogen sector.
- Under Bart`s leadership, Clean Hydrogen Partnership built a network of over 1000 EU companies and research labs and created the European Hydrogen Valleys partnership involving around 40 EU regions.
- Initiated the European Hydrogen Bank with a EUR 3,0 billion fund.
- Established the European Hydrogen Week, now a flagship event for the sector.
- Originated and implemented the Hydrogen Valley concept and negotiated and additional EUR 200 m under the RePowerEU initiative
