ZESTAs is pleased to welcome VINSSEN as a new Full Member, joining the association’s growing network of companies working to accelerate the deployment of True Zero emissions solutions across the maritime sector.
Based in the Republic of Korea, VINSSEN is a maritime technology company developing clean power and propulsion systems for vessels. Its work focuses on hydrogen fuel cell technology, battery-based propulsion, and integrated power management systems designed specifically for marine applications.
At the centre of VINSSEN’s offer is its Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEM FC) technology, enabling vessels to generate clean, efficient power using hydrogen. This is supported by battery-based propulsion systems that can operate independently or be integrated with fuel cells to improve efficiency, operational flexibility, and energy management.
VINSSEN’s approach reflects an important part of the wider True Zero emissions transition: not only developing individual technologies, but integrating them into practical marine systems that can be deployed on real vessels, in real operating conditions.
By joining ZESTAs, VINSSEN becomes part of a collaborative international platform bringing together technology developers, vessel operators, ports, energy providers, class, safety experts, and policy actors to move zero-emission shipping from isolated pilots towards coordinated deployment.
VINSSEN’s expertise in hydrogen fuel cells, battery systems, and marine power integration adds valuable capability to the ZESTAs ecosystem, particularly as the sector works to align vessel technology, infrastructure, safety, and regulation.
We look forward to working with VINSSEN and to supporting their contribution to the advancement of True Zero emissions shipping!
