ZESTAs Secretary General Madadh MacLaine and members of the ZESTAs team are participating in the 22nd session of the IMO Intersessional Working Group on Reduction of GHG Emissions from Ships (ISWG-GHG 22), taking place at IMO Headquarters in London from 1–4 September 2026.

The session continues discussions on the IMO Net-Zero Framework and the measures needed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from international shipping, including implementation guidelines and the IMO Life Cycle GHG Assessment framework.

ISWG-GHG 22 will inform preparations for MEPC 85 later this year.
