Madadh is a visionary social entrepreneur with a background in sustainable development. In 2007, she developed designs for a zero-emissions cargo ship to transport produce from her development project in a West African conflict zone. She is a founder of the International Windships Association and the founder and Secretary-General of the Zero Emissions Ship Technology Association (ZESTAs), an international organization that represents ZEST to industry and policymakers. Madadh represented ITM Power promoting the use of hydrogen in the maritime industry. ZEM Tech was founded in 2018 to promote Madadh’s vision for a zero-emissions maritime industry. She has an extensive network in energy transition and shipping sectors, ranging from ship-owners, policymakers, researchers, and technology providers. She is well known in the industry for her comprehensive knowledge of zero-emission solutions, her skills at diverse stakeholder engagement, and is sought after for collaboration in projects and speaker at events.
